William Mullet

William Mullet, 76, of Northwood, ND passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Lutheran Church, rural Northwood. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

William Mullet was born November 29, 1942 at Deaconess Hospital in Grand Forks to Melvin and Ovedia (Langdahl) Mullet. He grew up in the Northwood area and graduated from Northwood High School in 1960. In the fall of 1961, Willie started farming with his dad. He continued farming with his brother David until his retirement in 2010. Willie was a lifelong member of Washington Lutheran Church and served on the Washington Lutheran Church Council and the Washington Cemetery Board. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and playing cards.

Survivors include his sisters: Donna Tarver, Konawa, Oklahoma; twin sister, Wilma Stinar, East Grand Forks, MN; Mary (John) Luggerio, New Hartford, NY; brother, David Mullet, Northwood, ND; Willie is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Arlene Loewen; brother-in-law’s: Jerry Tarver, Ray Stinar and Duane Loewen, and niece Sharon Brooks.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northwood Deaconess Health Center for their loving and excellent care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Washington Cemetery.

Many memories of Willie from growing up in his hunting party (him getting David's new truck stuck in ditch at an almost vertical angle 😂) and having him as a hand picked bowling tournament partner in leagues when young (only other option was David 😂)
