William “Bill” Lambert, 59, of Northwood, ND passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood. William Robert Lambert was born December 10, 1961, in Grand Forks, ND to Robert Lambert and Kandis (Worsley) Julson. He attended school in Grand Forks and joined the United States Army in 1980. Bill was honorably discharged in 1983 with the loss of a limb. In April of 1986, he married his first wife, Lori Field (Jacquemart) in Grand Forks, ND, and together they had two children: Kayla Ann and Robert Curtis. Bill went on to meet Bonnie Schlaht, the love of his life, in 2005 and they were married June 18, 2011, at Golden Lake. He worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Bill enjoyed playing pool and spending time with, and picking on, his wife Bonnie. He was great at woodworking and fixing things. Bill also enjoyed mowing lawn, helping anyone who asked, and spending time in his treasured mancave. He adored his 3 grandchildren and loved his two dogs, Opie and Harley.

Bill’s famous saying was “I’ll Decide.” Bonnie would say she would, but ultimately guess who did. He was a jokester but was able to show his love to many in his own way.

Survivors include his loving wife, Bonnie, of Northwood, ND; his mother, Kandis Julson of Reynolds, ND; his daughter, Kayla (Gerald) DeVold; his son, Robert (Bryanna) Lambert; grandchildren: Eva (Bobby), Lucy, and Opal (Kayla); siblings: Tammie Johnson, Troy (Stacey) Lambert, Jamie (Miranda) Kosmatka, and Jennifer (Leroy) Hutchings, as well as many adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Preceding him in death was his father, Robert Lambert and stepfather, Curtis Julson.
