We were both shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Todd. What wonderful memories we have of him on elk hunting trips in Wyoming. His robust laugh and kind manner brought great joy to all who knew him. He will really be missed when the tall tales are told around the campfire. May the love of God and the support of family and friends help to ease your sorrow.

I remember being 21 and one of the first individuals I ran into was Mr. Tangen. I bought him a beer, which is strange, seeing as I just turned 21, but it was a fair trade for the superior teaching he offered me and the class of 88 in 4th grade. Without him and his eraser and nerf football lessons, I believe I walk a much different path. Top 5 educator of my life. Thank you Mr. Tangen....you'll always be my teacher.

I am so saddened to hear about Todd. He, and his family, was such a huge part of my childhood. I have pictures of Todd as the Valentine King at our country school celebration. I remember staying at their farm many nights with Nancy, and playing at their farm. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
