Thomas Martinson

Thomas Wayne Martinson, 65, of Trimble, MO passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home in Trimble. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.  at the Bilden-Askew Funeral Home in Northwood, ND. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Thomas Wayne Martinson was born February 19, 1956, in Grand Forks, ND to Medvin and Viola Martinson. He graduated from Northwood High School in 1974. After high school, Tom farmed on the family land and then went to DeVry Institute in Kansas City, MO, graduating as a computer engineer.

Tom went on to live in Rochester, MN, where he worked at an IBM support company. The majority of his life was spent in Kansas City, MO and Trimble, MO, where he worked for DST for over 20 years and for BCD Travel for 12 years.

Tom was an avid golfer; he loved fishing and hunting. Tom is greatly loved and missed by all his family and friends.  

Survivors include his brother, Jerry Martinson; sister-in-law, Judi; sister-in-law, Denise; nine nieces and nephews, and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Medvin and Viola Martinson; brother, Richard; and nephew, Nathan.
