Sheila Williams

Sheila Williams, 67, of Northwood, ND passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at her home in Northwood. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Washington Cemetery, rural Northwood, ND. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Washington Lutheran Church, rural Northwood. Due to COVID-19, social distancing and masks are recommended. There will be a light lunch outside the church following the graveside service so everybody is encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

Sheila Pauline Erickson was born December 9, 1952 in Devils Lake, ND to Vernon and Gladys (Swenson) Erickson. She grew up and attended school in Warwick, ND. In 1971, Sheila married Robert Frederick. They resided in Pekin, ND with their three children: Troy, Travis and Michelle.

Sheila later moved to Cavalier, ND where she worked as a CNA and in the activities department at Wedgewood Manor. While working at Wedgewood Manor, she made many lifelong friends. She also took care of her mother for the last four years of her life. Sheila loved gardening, fishing, nature, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Sheila also shared part of her life journey with Jack Robinson and Jerry Williams.

Survivors include her children: Troy (Rhonda) Frederick of Northwood, ND and their children, Hunter and Harper; Travis (Laura) Frederick of Myrtle Beach, SC and their children: Gabe, Taylor, Aiden, Samuel, Elijah, Nathan and Oliver; Michelle Madsen (Matt Pernat) of Larimore, ND and her daughter, Lauren and Matt’s daughters, Kinsey and Jacie; siblings: Jim (Marilee) Erickson, Cavalier, ND; Shirley Klefstad, West Fargo, ND; Lee (Gerene) Erickson, Hillsboro, ND; and Bev Haman, Bismarck, ND;

Preceding her in death were her parents, Vernon and Gladys; brother, Don Erickson; sister, Janice Kraft; nieces, Krista Erickson and Nevada Tiokasin; brothers-in-law: Jerry Haman, Paul Kraft and Stuart Klefstad.
