Richard Dokken

Richard Dokken, 70, of Northwood, ND passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bilden-Askew Funeral Home in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Richard Larry Dokken was born July 7, 1947 in Hatton, ND to Clarence and Evelyn (Johnson) Dokken. He grew up in rural Hatton/Northwood, attended country school and later attended school in Northwood. Richard farmed with his father on the family farm for many years until his father’s retirement. Richard subsequently lived in Grand Forks, Hatton and Northwood.

Survivors include his brother, Curtis, Hatton; and sister, Aldene (Reuben) Meland, Northwood;

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Clarence Jr. and Orville; sister, Jean Butler, and sisters-in-law, Ina (Tangen) Dokken and Anna Mae (Ostlie) Dokken.
