Richard Cox

Richard A. Cox, 59, of Northwood, ND passed away Sunday, October 7th, 2012 at his home in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:00pm at New Testament Baptist Church in Larimore, ND.
Richard was born August 22, 1953 in Ruislip, England to Robert and Mary "Jeri" (Broome) Cox. As part of a military family, he traveled around a lot but graduated from high school in Baldwin, Florida. On December 22, 1976, he married Virginia Ellar in the Philippines. Richard served in the Air Force until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed fishing, reading books, watching sports, and traveling with his family. Richard loved spending time with his family. His greatest joy and strength came from his relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Richard is survived by his wife Virginia, children: Jeremy (Lisa) Cox, Fargo, ND, Jacqueline (Antonio) DiTommaso, Grand Forks, ND, Joanna (John) Alter, Korea, Janice (Steve) Porter, Fargo, ND; 8 grandchildren, and brother Billy (Anissa) Cox, Jacksonville, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Cox.
