Phylles Hagen

Phylles Hagen, 102, of Northwood, ND passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Washington Lutheran Church, rural Northwood. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church.

Phylles Luella Larson was born January 4, 1916 near Northwood, ND to Gustav and Anna (Hanson) Larson. She grew up and attended country school in Northwood. After school, Phylles worked for various local businesses. On October 15, 1940, Phylles married Oscar Hagen. She was an active member of Washington Lutheran Church and the Washington Lutheran Church Ladies’ Aid. Phylles enjoyed baking, gardening, birds and flowers.

Survivors include her children: Gerald (Fran) Hagen, West Fargo, ND; Janice (Gary) Bilden, Northwood, ND; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Oscar; infant daughter, Noreen; and two brothers, George and Curtis Larson.
