Peter Vageline

     Peter Vageline, 71, of Northwood, ND passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 22, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

    Peter Vageline was born August 22, 1950, in Schenectady, New York to John and Mary (Pranys) Vageline. He grew up in Schenectady and spent a lot of time bailing hay and caring for cows at his grandparents’ farm. He worked at a gas station and was a small-town mechanic. Pete moved to Larimore in 1976 to work with his brother, Bob, at his body shop. On October 3, 2003, Pete married Sarah Jones. He worked for Retrax until his retirement at age 67. During his retirement years. Pete ran an egg business at their farm.

    Survivors include his wife, Sarah; stepsons: Caleb James Cox, Daniel Thomas Cox (Emma), and Joseph David Cox (Fiancé Heidi); granddaughter, Anna Cox; brother, Bob (Ramona) Vageline; nephews: Ben Vageline, Mike Vageline, and Jonathan (Janessa) Vageline;

     Preceding him in death was his parents and brother, Tom.
