Oscar Langager

Oscar LeRoy “Toby” Langager, 70, of Monticello, MN and formerly of Northwood, ND, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 at Monticello Care Center in Monticello. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

LeRoy was born December 28, 1949 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Oscar and Lila Langager. He moved to Crystal, MN and there grew up and graduated from Cooper High School in 1967. He then went on and graduated from Minnesota School of Business in 1970. LeRoy entered in and served in the U.S. Army in late 1970 for the next two years. His passion for bowling began at age 8 and lasted his entire life with bowling on the PBA tour up until the early 1980’s. On December 6, 1975, he married Patricia Ann Knobbe at Mount Olivet in Minneapolis, MN. They moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ where they began their career in business which continued for the next 38 years.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; daughter, Wendy (Tom); two grandchildren, Emily and Abraham; half-sister, Susan Beving, Warren, MN;

He was preceded in death by his parents.
