Nathalie Enger

Nathalie Elaine Enger, 94, of Northwood, ND passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in the Goose River Cemetery.

Nathalie Midboe was born July 26, 1924 near Northwood to Aslak and Thea (Olson) Midboe. She grew up on a farm by Northwood and attended rural school. On December 17, 1943, Nathalie was united in marriage to Clark Enger at Goose River Church, near Hatton, ND. They lived on the farm Nathalie grew up on and Clark farmed the land. To that union, six children were born: Larry James on November 22, 1944; Lorretta Jane on October 18, 1945; Kathryn DeLaine on August 18, 1947; Clayton Allen on November 14, 1948; Harlan Clark on May 22, 1950; and James Michael on August 19, 1953.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Dennis) Sherva, Grand Forks, ND; son, Jim (Laurie) Enger, Northwood, ND; 13 grandchildren: Laura (Derek) Sanda, Paula (Jon) Ruoff, Jeff (Roxanne) Sherva, Brad (Tracy) Enger, Troy (Rhonda) Enger, Travis (Callie) Enger, Tanya Tandberg, Tracy (Jeff) Yeargan, Tara Wolfe, Chad (Trisha) Enger, Corey (Brandi) Enger, Christopher (Kaylee) Enger, Derrick Enger; 33 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Clark; and children: Larry, Loretta, Clayton and Harlan.
