Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear mother. She always seemed so please to see us when we were together. She loved to tell me I was the FIRST Barbara Jean Strand. We will be sending a $50.00 donation in her memory. Our prayers for you as you miss ger tender heart and beautiful smile.

Millie was a very special lady to me. She was my pastor's wife when John served at St. Paul's Free Lutheran church in Fargo, ND. She was the wife of the first president of the AFLC. And she was a great encourager to the WMF. I looked forward to getting her Christmas letter every year. God bless her memory.

Sincere sympathy to Steven, Michael, Jonathan and families. To me Millie's faith, warmth, and kindness could only be exceeded by her wonderful smile! She was truly a very special person and a very special aunt.

My condolences Steven, Michael (Mickey as I called you; one of my first friends), Jonathan and families. What a beautiful and faithful testimony for Jesus your mom was! I so enjoyed occasional FB exchanges, sharing memories with her over the past years. Our families friendships go way back! Your dad baptized me almost 71 years ago, and I had the privilege of living with your mom and dad in Minneapolis for a few weeks until the Bible School dorm was completed. May God surround you with His comfort, peace and love. Lois Presteng Forde
