Marlys Midboe

Marlys Midboe, 80, of Northwood, ND passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00pm at Northwood Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northwood. A visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00pm with a 7:00pm prayer service at the Bilden Funeral Home in Northwood.

Marlys was born October 17, 1932 near McVille, ND to Severin and Annie (Lee) Reinhart. She grew up and attended school in McVille. After graduating from McVille High School, Marlys attended nursing training in Watertown, SD. She then worked at the Northwood Hospital and thats where she met her husband Carl Midboe. They were married September 7, 1957 near McVille. After marriage, they farmed near the Northwood Area. Carl passed away January 29, 2007. Marlys enjoyed canning, cooking, collecting recipe books, talking on the phone and being part of the church. She was a devoted wife and loving mother.

Marlys is survived by her daughter Carol Midboe (Craig Huseby), Enderlin, ND, and son Steve Midboe, Strasburg, ND; Aunt Nellie, Uncle Adolph, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Carl.
