Kenneth Allen Crawford, 54, Grafton, ND passed away suddenly, on Saturday January 22, 2011, in New Port Richey, FL, where he was working as a pipeline welder for Sheehan Pipeline Co.

Ken was born on March 14, 1956 in Courtland, NY. Ken was the son of Betty and Bernie Crawford of Brooksville, KY. Ken graduated form Braken County High school, Brooksville, KY in 1974, where he enjoyed playing basketball. He went to collage at Eastern Kentucky University, and received an AA degree in Broadcasting.
He Joined the Pipeliners Union Local 798, Tulsa, OK, and worked as a helper with his Dad, Bernie Crawford. One of his favorite memories was working with his Dad on the Alaska pipeline in 1977. He became a Journeyman welder for Union 798, and enjoyed working in several different states.
He met the love of his life Pamela Lenz while working on a Pipeline job in Grafton, ND in 1997. They were married on January 2, 1999. They were blessed with 2 active and charming sons, Zachary, 10 and Zane, 6

Ken loved his family dearly, and hated being away working, but kept in constant touch with his wife and boys, always telling them how much he loved them. He loved to take pictures and make videos of family events. He also loved to play Frisbee with his "Frisbee" dog, Hunny Bee. Being outside with the boys and the dogs, Hunny Bee and Zoee, was one of his favorite things. He loved working with wood, fixing things around the house, taking care of the yard, riding bikes with the boys, going to concerts with Pam, and taking trips with her and the boys. He also had a great sense of humor and kept us laughing by his silliness.

Ken will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 12 years Pam, their boys, Zach and Zane, and his many friends in Grafton. Ken is survived by his sister, Sherry (John) Henderson, and Niece Kaitlin, and her 2 sons Luke and Jon and sister, La'Nae (Greg) Insko and Niece, Kelly (James) Hopp, and Nephew Aaron Insko, in Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, and Grandparents. He is also survived by his ND family, In-Laws Llyod and Betty Lenz, Reynolds, ND, Sister-in-law Pat (Myron Disrud), Rolla, ND, their children, Ken and Pam's Nieces and Nephew, Marlys (Ryan) Severance, and Great Nephew, Carter, Darwin, MN. Brad (Tiffany) Disrud, Great Nieces Ellie and Reese, Rolla, ND, and Janelle Dirsud ( fiance' Shawn Carnahan) Rolla, ND, and Brother In-Law Paul Lenz, Reynolds, ND.

Visitation to celebrate Ken's life will be on Friday at the River of Life Church in Grafton from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm with a Prayer Service from 6:30 to 7:00 pm.

Memorial Services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Holmes United Methodist Church rural Reynolds, North Dakota with burial in Holmes United Methodist Cemetery.

The Bilden Funeral Home of Northwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
