Jody Krueger

Jody Krueger, 56, of Hatton, ND, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at her home in Hatton. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Hatton. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Jody Teigland was born August 2, 1968, in Roseau, MN, to Wayne and Darlene (Davy) Teigland. She grew up in Skime, MN and attended school in Grygla, MN. Jody married Brad Stenvik and they had two children, Mitchal and Brittney. Brad and Jody later divorced.

Jody worked at Polaris Industries and then as a clerk at a Thief River Falls insurance agency. She then worked for the Walsh County State's Attorney’s Office. On January 1, 1999, Jody married Allen Krueger. They moved to Hatton in May of 1999 and raised their five children there.

Jody loved her dogs and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She fought a good fight with MS for 33 years. She was very loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Allen; children, Mitchal Stenvik and Brittney (Melissa) Stenvik; step-children: Brittany (Kyle) Spicer, Gavyn Krueger, and Aryn (Ashley) Krueger; grandchildren: Carden, Camdyn, Oakley, and Macee Spicer; Paxton and Lexi Krueger; and Lilyanne Stenvik; mother, Darlene Stewart; siblings: Stuart (Kami) Hamilton, Scott (Linda) Hamilton, Shari (Randy) Loken; brothers-in-law, Gene (Vicki) Krueger and Steve (Sandy) Krueger;

Jody is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ezra and Beatrice Davy and Allan and Alice Teigland; father, Wayne Gerald Teigland; brother, Shannon Teigland; stepfather, Phil Stewart; mother and father-in-law, Roland and Myrtle Krueger; and sister-in-law, Donna.
