Jeanne Knudtsen

Jeanne Knudtsen, 85, of Northwood, ND passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:00a.m. at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center Dining Room Chapel in Northwood.

Jeanne Bilden was born January 22, 1929 in Northwood, ND to Arthur and Gladys (Sherva) Bilden. She grew up in Northwood and graduated from Northwood High School. After high school, Jeanne attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. On June 7, 1948, Jeanne married David Knudtsen. She worked as a secretary and a travel agent. Jeanne enjoyed cooking and traveling the world with David.

Survivors include her husband, David, Northwood, ND, children: Kathy Snortland, Langdon, ND, Steven (Alberta) Knudtsen, Chiang Mai, Thailand, Nancy (Fred) Huber, Greenville, SC; grandchildren: Chris (Andrea) Snortland, Grand Forks, ND, Steven (Marcia) Snortland, Los Angeles, CA, Heather Knudtsen, Johnson City, TN, Krista Knudtsen, Johnson City, TN, Grant Huber, Austin, TX; great-grandchildren: Lily and Amelia Snortland, Emi and Keiko Snortland; siblings: Art Bilden, Northwood, ND, John (Verona) Bilden, Pharr, TX, Mike (Judy) Bilden, Superior, WI.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and sister Lorraine Ramsey.
