Gordon was one of the nicest people I've met. He had a smile that could light up the world. He loved his family with all his heart. He was such a gentleman. I looked forward to visiting him every Wednesday and chatting. I will miss him. I do have a finished binder of "his story" that we wrote together. They were his words, his heart, his life. Dear Sogge Family, We are sorry to hear about the passing of Gordy, and wish to express our heart felt sympathy to your entire family. What a special person he was. Always full of laughter, and always gracious in welcoming anyone into his shop just for fun conversation, weather if you needed a haircut or not. And, he always offered anyone to help themselves to a pop out of the refrigerator while you were there. He was the town counselor to so many young people growing up in Northwood, and how many first time haircuts he must have responsible for. He will surely be missed by all. With our deepest sympathies, Kim and Simone Kringlie

My family and I would like to offer our deepest sympathies to you and your family. We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are never alone. Turn to the Holy Scriptures for guidance and to help soothe your heart. Psalms 34:18 assures us that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit. Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Many memories of Gordy cutting my hair and him asking how my many uncles (moms brothers) were doing. They were from a ways away but he seemed to know everyone. He was a great man. He cut my hair, my sons hair (for their first time). I am proud to call his kids my friends! Prayers for all of the Sogge family. Gordy will be missed.
