I was lucky enough to have served mass for many years while Fr. Lommel was at St. Edwards in Drayton. I was one of the "good guys", as he called us. He was a great priest and will be missed.

Fr. Lommel was one of the most pastoral priests I have known. He truly had the welfare of people in his heart. May God give him eternal peace and joy in the God's holy presence.

Thank you and God bless you Fr. Lommel. It was an honor to be an alter boy for you all those years at St. Edwards. Whether it was serving at mass, watching Notre Dame or going out to eat you always looked out for your guys. I will always think of you while watching the Irish on Saturday afternoons. Thank you for everything.

Fr.Lommel thank you for all you did. You were a great support for my mother and I will never forget that. You are a model for all who serve. Thanks for all you did for my family

Our condolences to the Lommel families. Over the years we have visited over the telephone many times. When we returned to Grafton we always paid him a visit. Father was always good to our family and we enjoyed his visits when he spent his winters in Arizona. We will miss his cheerful voice & his good humor.

Our whole family mourns the loss of a wonderful priest. He baptized two of our children, married my sister and how can I ever forget- I was his secretary when he was assigned in Drayton. He will be missed. Michele and Jeffrey Bates
