I just heard of Esther's home going to be with her Savior Jesus. I last had a chance to visit with her at uncle Norris 90th birthday celebration. God granted her long life and sharp mind and what a blessing for her and for you her family. Like sister Lois Lerom, I remember the "aunt" from Hatton who came to all our family reunions and the fun times we had playing with the cousins. Our prayers are with you her loved family and may you find comfort in the promise of Jesus that he has her home in heaven in the place he prepared for her. John 14:1-6

We are saddened to hear of Aunt Esther's death. We know she was dearly loved by her family and friends. I remember her as a very attractive, kind person and with definite opinions! We were so pleased that the Holter family always joined us in the STOA family reunions at our farm. I was especially impressed that the Holter sons showed up in white pants! Cleaning them was a Mother's labor of love! You are all in our prayers as we honor and bless the memory of Aunt Esther.

Dear Mother: Your wish has been granted. The Pearly gates are wide open and waiting. During your years on this earth you touched the lives of many people way beyond your own family. I will miss you in person. Your wisdom and wit will be remembered by all who knew you. Someday Mother we will see you again in the everlasting life.

Dear Family of Esther, 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord'. When I was very young, I thought 'GordonandMarilyn' was all one word. Mother explained to us that they were our cousins, though I wasn't exactly sure how we were related. (I think my Mother taught us the names of our relatives before she taught us the letters of the alphabet). Now I realize how strong Esther must have been when she lost my Uncle, and how happy everyone must have been when she found Jerry. I remember with great pleasure the last time I saw her. I have always taken pride in the way my relatives keep track of each other (remember the 'Round Robins'?). And so we mark and honour her death with you, and remember her life, and give thanks. Someone said to me that my grandmother is a 'legend'. And indeed this is correct. Truly amazing to think of the life experiences Esther shared with so many. I always think of her dressed well, hair done, jewelry matching and ready to receive family and friends for a visit. She has a devoted following proud to know and love her. To my mother and her siblings you have been given a great gift of her long life. We join you in honoring her life. Jana Brooks and family.
