Edward Gage

Edward Gage, 94, of Page, ND, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10:30 at the Pillsbury Presbyterian church in Pillsbury, ND.
Edward Gage was born August 30, 1917 to Wells Sr. and Minnie (Peter) Gage in Rochester Township of Cass County. He attended Walden School through the 8th grade. In 1933, he began farming with his brother Charles and continued to farm for 59 years in the Minnie Lake Township in Barnes County. He married Katherine Paul at Timber Lake, South Dakota on June 25, 1942. Katherina died April 10, 1990. Edward then later married Leona Hart on October, 20, 1991. He enjoyed farming, carpentry, and church activities.
He is survived by his wife: Leona Hart of Mayville; children: Jay(Surrey) Gage of Page, ND, Edna (Dennis) Jensen of Williston, ND, Erna (Allan) of Plymouth, MN, Ruth Gage of Jamestown; Step-children: Darrell Hart of Thompson, ND and Valorie Omlid of Grand Forks, ND; sisters: Fern(Lawrence) Larson of Lisbon and June (Tom) Ruyle of Sun City, AZ; brothers: Wells Jr (Ann) Gage of Yuma, AZ, Paul (Marilyn) Gage of Fargo, ND, and Clark (Carolyn) Gage of Onalaska, WI; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, wife: Katherina; son: Luke Gage; sisters; Louise Schiewek and Ester Thompson; brothers: Charles Gage and Fred Gage.
