Earl Johnson

Earl D. Johnson, age 67, of Sharon, ND passed away on June 22, 2011 at Hatton Prairie Village, Hatton, ND. Funeral service on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 2 PM at Hatton Prairie Village Chapel, Hatton. Visitation on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 5-7 PM at Hatton Prairie Village Chapel with a prayer service at 7 PM. Interment at Hoff Cemetery, Sharon, ND.
Earl D. Johnson was born on July 12, 1943 in Sharon, ND to Julian and Grace (Wamstad) Johnson. He grew up in the Sharon area where he attended school. He worked for the Fargo Public Schools as an engineer and electrician from 1964-2003. He married Louise Liberda on July 6, 1985 at Lake Lizzie, MN. After his retirement he moved to the family farm near Sharon. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially hunting and fishing and he enjoyed spending time at the lake. He loved his family and friends and he will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant grandson, Joshua Duane Lewton.
He is survived by his wife, Louise of Sharon, ND; children, Vicki (Shawn) Lewton of Sherman, TX, Cory Johnson of Plymouth, MN; two grandsons, Justin Michael Lewton and Nicholas Earl Lewton; sister, ReNae (Morris) Ostmo of Northwood, ND; sisters and brothers- in- law and nieces and nephews.
