Doris Ovrid

Doris Ovrid, 79, of Hatton, ND passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Hatton Prairie Village in Hatton. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hatton Prairie Village Chapel in Hatton. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the chapel.

Doris Ann Lyste was born February 13, 1938 to Clarence and Annie (Bjerke) Lyste on the family farm near Sharon, ND. She attended Beaver Creek School #3. In 1986, Doris married Gordon Ovrid at Beaver Creek Lutheran Church, rural Hatton. They lived in Hatton and Mayville. Doris entered Hatton Prairie Village in 2015 and resided there until the time of her death.

Survivors include her sisters: Ardis (Gerald) Storebo and Marion Ronholm. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Gordon; siblings: Arvid, Curtis, Orlo, Floyd, Christian, Viola, Marion, and two infant sisters.
