Donald Savage

Donald Savage, 89, of Northwood, ND passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 2:30 p.m.  at Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be at the St. John Cemetery in Hatton.

Donald Earl Savage was born July 14, 1931 near Tappen, ND to Earl and Myrtle (Frydenlund) Savage. He attended a rural country school in Avon Township near Northwood until the 8th grade. Don graduated from Northwood High School in 1949. He then attended Dakota Business College and North Dakota State University.

On November 8, 1969, Don married Marian Green at St. John Lutheran Church in Hatton, ND. He farmed all his life in the Northwood Community.
