David Eurich

December 21, 1969 — April 14, 2023

David Eurich, 53, of Aneta, ND, passed away peacefully in his sleep under the care of Aneta Parkview Health
Center and Hospice.
David was raised in Rolette, ND, with his 3 siblings. He was energetic and athletic until his coordination and
speech became affected in his teenage years by what was discovered to be Wilson’s Disease. Complications of
the disease led David to drop out of high school in his junior year, but David didn’t give up. He obtained his GED
a year later, which was presented to him during the graduation ceremony of his classmates.
After earning his GED, David remained in Rolette, then moved to Longview, WA, to be near his father. He later
returned to ND, living in various places. Challenges followed David, but he was happy to have his family nearby.
David often stayed with an uncle at his farm in Dunseith. This suited David, as he loved aspects of farm life and
pitched in as he was able.
Despite consequences of the disease and choices he made, David kept his heart big and grin mischievous.
Family and caregivers alike would agree that no moment with David was dull. The disease’s impact on his
speech did not limit his jokes and one-liners, nor did impairments to his coordination slow down the growth of
his sneaker collection. And, like his brothers, David remained a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
David was preceded in death by his father, Norman David Eurich, his mother, Bonnie LaRae Enno, and his
brother, Norman Ronald Eurich, who passed on March 8, 2023. His stepfather, Merle Enno, is living in the
Alzheimer’s unit at Trinity Nursing Home in Minot. He is survived by 2 siblings, Melissa “Missy” Finkbeiner
(Mark) and Blaine Allen Eurich (Patty), and nieces and nephews, Ashley Eurich, Logan Beaver, Levi Ryan, Daniel
Ryan, and Elizabeth, Emmalee, and Ellison Eurich, Caleb Eurich, Alexis Gray, Ashlynn Eurich, and Brayden
Kovarik.
The family is planning a service which will be held at the Valle Lutheran Church in Rolette, ND, on Friday, April 28, at 11 am. Lunch will follow the service.
