Curtis Ellingson

Curtis Ellingson, 80, of Northwood, ND passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at the Bilden-Askew Funeral Home in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bethania Cemetery.

Curtis Ellingson was born March 16, 1941, in Lind Township, Grand Forks County, ND to Iver and Anna (Wickney) Ellingson. He grew up in Lind Township and graduated from Northwood High School. Curtis farmed with his brothers for his whole life until his retirement. When he wasn’t farming, he enjoyed collecting stamps and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his sister, Marilyn (Dave) Wilson, Albany, OR; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Benny) Ellingson; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his parents, sisters: Olga (Everett) McAure, Baby Alice Ellingson; brothers: Benny (Bernhard), Allen, Arnold, and Lyle.
