Ardella Fuglestad

Ardella Fuglestad, 84, of Northwood, ND passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center, where she resided for the past 3.5 years, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center Dining Room Chapel in Northwood. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the nursing home.

Ardella was born April 5, 1933 in Wimbledon, ND, the daughter of Art and Alfreda Oglesby. On October 17, 1953, she married Ralph Fuglestad. They farmed near Aneta, ND, where they raised five children. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and raising her children. Once the children were raised, she loved caring for little children and worked at the Aneta Parkview Nursing Home for 14 years. In 2011, Ralph and Ardella moved to Northwood.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; sons: Rod of Aneta, ND, Ed (Teresa) of Northwood, ND; daughters: Nancy of Texas, Karen (Doug) of Wyoming, and Ranae (Steve) of Northwood; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 more soon to arrive; sister, Elverna of Valley City, ND;

Preceding her in death were her parents, a son-in-law, three brothers and three sisters.
