Andrew Naastad

Andrew Naastad, 33, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:30am at Bethany Lutheran Church, rural Hatton, ND. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00pm with a 7:00pm prayer service at the Bilden Funeral Home in Northwood, ND.
Andrew David Naastad was born June 1, 1981 in Grand Forks, the son of Karen (Rondestvedt) Naastad and David Naastad. He graduated from Red River High School in 2000. Andrew worked as an apprentice electrician for Custom Electric and later for Right Choice Electric. He was currently employed by Naastad Brothers out of Hatton, ND. Andrew loved to hunt and looked forward to any opportunity to do so with his chocolate lab. He and his dog, Sage, were inseparable companions.
Andrew is survived by his father, David, Grand Forks, ND; mother Karen, Goodyear, AZ; sister Nichole and her husband Jerod; nephew Isaac and niece Bree, Woodinville, WA.
We will miss his contagious smile and the kindness shown in his eyes. We will hold him in our hearts forever.
